Fact Box
We’re proud to be involved in the refurbishment of Ward 32 at the Radbourne Unit, Royal Derby Hospital, as part of Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust’s Making Room for Dignity programme.
The refurbishment is transforming the existing ward to provide 17 single, en-suite bedrooms, helping to eradicate dormitory-style accommodation and create a more private, dignified and therapeutic environment for patients.
Our works include a wide range of specialist joinery and fit-out elements, including:
• Creation of the new roof deck
• Column encasements
• Window boards and skirtings
• Wall protection
• Doors and ironmongery
• Installation of Specialist doors and ironmongery
• Kitchenettes
• Shelving and mirrors
Working within a live healthcare environment requires careful coordination, attention to detail and a strong focus on safety, quality and the needs of the end users.
It’s a project where the finished detail really matters — contributing to a modern environment designed around privacy, dignity and patient wellbeing.
Another project we’re proud to have delivered as part of the ongoing improvement of mental health facilities across Derbyshire.
